One Month- Brookes Quotes and Art

Today marks one month since our sweet Brooke left us and returned to heaven. We are so blessed that Brooke was such a prolific artist, writer and journal keeper. We have all been amazed at the volumes of journals, writings and artwork that we have discovered in closets, drawers and storage boxes. A lifetime of creations that have become rich treasures to our family! 

She has countless journals, particularly from about age 10-18. These journals are literally packed with her love of family, love of the Lord, writings to inspire and lift, writings to encourage others to faith and hope. I am spending hours on end reading them and feeling close to her and feasting on her wisdom, faith and positivity. What treasures!

The painting of the tree, earth and peace symbol below is a theme that Brooke created over and over with many variations. These pieces of artwork are filled with some of the quotes that encouraged and inspired her the most.

How I love and adore you my Precious Brookie! Your life continues to lift, bless and inspire so many!! One month missing you already feels like a lifetime! With the Saviors help I will somehow navigate this painful journey. How thankful I am that I had the opportunity to be your mommy!
